GIVEAWAY: Dial’s Miracle Oil Body Wash

Last week Saturday, I found myself in the most excruciating pain while I waited for my doctor’s office to open on Monday. Not wanting to pay the cost of an ER visit, I waited it out in complete agony.

I’ve battled with eczema since my elementary school days, and it was particularly bad when I was a kid who only knew that scratching felt good. Even burning felt better than itching. This isn’t really the case anymore now that I’m an adult. I’ll take itching over burning pain.

Dial-Miracle-Oil-Body-WashAnd yet this past weekend, because I was in so much pain, I was obviously very stressed, and with stress comes scratching. So on top of the pain I was going through, I had a patch of skin that was burning, adding to my misery. Then one night while I was in bed trying to fall asleep, I realized that the burning had stopped. Then I realized that over the last couple of days, the burning was only gone after I’d taken my nightly shower. After I’d used the bottle of Miracle Oil Body Wash I was trying out for Dial.

I lay in bed googling on my phone and learned that marula oil (the so-called miracle oil) does supposedly have soothing properties for skin. It’s used in South Africa in cooking, cosmetics, and as a lotion. The oil is made from the nuts of the marula tree.

I figured there’s no harm in trying it throughout the day. I mean, whatever works, right? So I started just taking a short rinse off several times a day whenever my eczema felt particularly bad, and for a couple of short, blissful hours, I’d find my skin feeling so much better. Of course, that could all be in my head, but who knows?

This surprise relief aside, the scent of the Miracle Oil Body Wash is wonderful, but very strong, so if you’re one of those people that likes to goop the stuff onto your pouf (my daughter) then you’d better be prepared to smell like a walking bottle of the stuff. I use just a little, and even then the whole bathroom fills up with the scent.

Anyway, thanks to the Purex Insiders team, I have two coupons for a free bottle of Miracle Oil Body Wash. You may have already been seeing ads for this on tv, as my daughter and I have been catching them on Food Network. To enter, all you have to do is comment below and tell me whether or not you’ve heard of the Miracle Oil Body Wash before. Giveaway will end April 3, 2015. Good luck, everyone!

  1. I have not heard of this body wash but if it seemed to help your eczema I would be more than willing to give it a try. I have also suffered with this for many years. I will be on the lookout for this at my grocery store.

  2. I actually have this body wash. I suffered from such dry skin that I saw it and bought it. It leaves my skin honestly feeling silky smooth straight out of the shower. Great product!
