Whew! I don’t know about you guys, but I’m always beat on November 1st. I go all out for Halloween, and although I’d tried to take the day off to prep for my Halloween party, I ended up with an uncarved pumpkin and several dishes gone to visit Maybe-Next-Yearville.

If you’re wondering where I got that 400,000 number from, I looked up some statistics, and a staggering 384,126 people participated in NaNoWriMo last year. Of those, approximately 34,000 made it to the end. WOW!
