Today I’m happy to announce that I’ve got something new for my business: a Facebook group for people to ask for advice on single sentences. This is a complimentary service and open to anyone, as the group is public.
If you’re wondering why I would do this for free, the answer is that I do it already. I just never really thought about it.
I got the idea earlier this week while commenting in various Facebook groups. I realized that I’m constantly weighing in on little snippets of writing, responding to queries from both writers and editors, and most of them are only for one sentence. And so I figured I might as well use that as a way to start using that Community tab on my Facebook page.
Facebook groups have become a very popular way for people in self-publishing and freelancing to interact, but I haven’t really seen a group specifically geared toward something like this, so I thought I’d give it a try. I want to eventually open more groups tied to my page, but I haven’t really come up with anything else. For now, this is a start.
