SimpleMarkup #189 – Indecision Complication

This week has flown by for me, and I’ve got so much to catch up on. Some good news: I’m only a few days away from clearing my two-week period after my second vaccination, and I’m excited to not have to worry quite so much about COVID.

I’ve officially coined a new hybrid editing word: bediting. This is when you’re so consumed by a tiny little editorial decision that you literally lie awake in bed pondering all the nuances and context to your sentence or phrase or word over and over. Or sometimes you’re in bed on your phone chatting on Slack about it. <cough>

And then, at last: a decision! Yes!

Until someone asks you about it. Then it all goes back to square one. Do you “bedit”?
