SimpleMarkup #20 – Great Expectations

Developmental editing fiction can be a really rewarding service to provide to writers. You’re like a personal trainer in a way. Trim that storyline! Tone those characters! Give me more detail on this scene! Push yourself harder! Go, go, go!

Sometimes, though, your suggestions can lead to unexpected new bumps in the road.

That said, I’ve learned you can always learn from new challenges, and so once I get past the initial jolt of something like this, I usually rub my hands together and get back to work.

My tote bag contest is over! The winner…

Rachel Skinner! Woohoo! I’ll be in contact soon. 🙂

Next week, a microwaveable prize you can use to sip liquid superhero/heroine potion.
