SimpleMarkup #107 – Triple Threat

I’m feeling happy today because it’s raining. It’s been so hot and humid here, and I love the rain. I woke up last night and I could hear it very soothingly pattering down on the roof. It sucks for sports and what-not, but it’s nice not to have to water my garden for once this morning!

I’ve got so much to do today, though. Argh! In addition to today being comic day, I’ve also got a sick teen at home, a kid to take to the doctor’s this afternoon, and I started doing my bento blog again yesterday. I actually packed Mr. D a bento this morning! We’ll see how it goes. I got a really nice welcome back from my old readers, so that was a good motivator. It does, however, mean I have another blog post to publish today.

This week’s comic addresses something that drives me (and a lot of other editors) absolutely bonkers—the lay/lie/laid rules. It’s so aggravatingly complicated and hard to remember that I actually made myself a chart to help with it, and I STILL make mistakes with it, which also drives me bonkers.

Time to get my day rolling. Have a great rest of your week!
